Monica is a talented artist and her expertise applies as well to love as to ancient paintings. However, Monica has an aimless life because she has no money. When David, a famous art dealer, offers her to stay at his house to restore paintings, she accepts right away. Once in his sumptuous house, she settles in the atelier and soon, David and Monica become lovers. Everything would be for the best if Monica had not discovered that her "benefactor" had a strange way of doing business.
